Did not see this mod...quite wonderful if you ask me. I will download it right away, it gives much more diversity that was definitely needed! Looks like all the units are fitted nicely into the rest of the game too. Definitely have to try this one out.
Please let me know your thoughts! The Nanban Christian gunners look really cool!

I may download it one day. But I am happy with vanilla at the moment, will only play mod once I have played the original too much and wish for a change.
I thought this game was practically unmoddable?
And maybe this should be in the mods forum, you'd be the first to make a thread!

I'll move this to become our first modding topic.
The mod itself doesn't interest me much. It's mostly more warrior monks and some combinations of existing unit types which (for me) results in unnecessary units with names that are too long. "Bow Warrior Monks Cavalry" doesn't sound that good.

I'm going to try it. Also I found one that makes different looking sailors on the ships, something that bothered me with the vanilla.

The mod is really cool with all the additional units. However, I found an even better one and compounded them both. The unit variety mod is actually a big improvement to the game. Now, my ashigaru all look radically different from each other...some without helmets and different armor pieces. The monks, samurai, and ninjas look much different from each other too! Also, sailors on ships have more variety to how they look.
I never noticed, but it makes sense to put shine on the cannons. It is a noticeable improvement!
