Looks like CA has enable VAC, which means it can detect cheaters during multiplayer. The consequences for cheating or breaking the rules are harsh. It's a good move by CA because it means that they are taking multiplayer more seriously.

General Rawlinson- This is most unsatisfactory. Where are the Sherwood Foresters? Where are the East Lancashires on the right?

Brigadier-General Oxley- They are lying out in No Man's Land, sir. And most of them will never stand again.

Quite so. The Creative Assembly and SEGA seem to be getting cracking down in an effort to improve multiplayer for competitive players. Those who play multiplayer for fun won't care quite as much. Clans and players interested in climbing the leaderboards will for sure though.

Now all they have to do is make sure multiplayer is balanced and as bug\exploit free as possible. Oh, and pray that multiplayers works as intended since it wouldn't be good if the majority of the community could not find or connect to a game.

I also heard that if you rage quits 3 times then you get branded a "dishonorable player."

Glad to see they're going after cheaters a bit more actively, as long as the system works accurately. I've heard stories of people getting banned without using cheats and Valve not listening to complaints they made. In one recent case, they took quite their time to admit the system had banned 10,000 people wrongly.

Nice, although it doesn't just make the game better for those who play competitively. I will only play online for fun, but that still doesn't mean I don't mind if someone has hacked morale or something.
